The average erect girth (measured at the thickest point of the shaft) is 11.66 cm (4.59 in), SD 1.10 cm. Larger meta-analyses since then — Belladelli 2023 (n = 55,761), Mostafaei 2025 (n = 36,883) — report means within plus or minus one centimetre of the Veale figure.
